CLICk FOR VIDEO - I created what has come to be known as the “angry truck rant” video shortly after the Umpqua College mass shooting in Oregon. The video garnered more than 1.5 million “views” on Facebook in one week. After reading some of the more than 6,000 comments in response to that video – most notably the comments made by anti-gunners – I felt compelled to share their comments and offer my views on them. Enjoy!

Whenever a federal court recognizes a fundamental right with which a certain group disagrees, people within that group howl like stuck pigs and claim the federal courts have no authority to recognize fundamental rights. In support of their claim they often reference the 10th Amendment.

But today, in modern democracies, a country’s leaders cannot simply go to war. They must convince their citizens there is good reason to make war. This been aptly characterized as “manufacturing consent”. That is accomplished by propaganda. And no nation on earth has misleading its citizens down to a science better than the U.S. government. The propaganda America has received regarding Islam is a perfect example. As long as you keep buying it, you will remain the vassal – the fool – of the manipulators.
VIDEO IN ARTICLE - What is your definition of liberty? Want to hear my personal definition? Here it is.
“Liberty is freedom constrained only by our responsibility to respect the equal rights of others.” A rubber meets the road way of expressing that is; people can do whatever they want – repeat: whatever they want – as long as they don’t interfere with others exercising their rights.
CLICK FOR VIDEO - The number of Americans self-identifying as ‘Christian’ is at an all-time low and continuing to decline. From Loving v. Virginia (1967) to Obergefell v. Hodges (2015), the federal courts have shown they are no longer willing to permit the religious opinions of Christians to be enshrined in America’s civil law. How will historians look back and see this period? And what does the future hold for Christians in America?
CLICK ARTICLE FOR VIDEO - Most people follow the crowd, and repeat whatever the crowd says. The only real difference being which crowd they choose to follow. But what happens when you make a conscious decision to no longer follow the crowd or show respect for their dogma? This video humorously explores some of the consequences that can befall the person who used logic and reason to separate himself from the madding crowd.
VIDEO IN ARTICLE - The video age is upon us – and growing! One of the positive aspects of “a video camera in every hand” is the ability to establish greater accountability over a segment of government employees that have been without meaningful accountability for far too long. The police. In this video we explore how to use video of police abuse to our maximum advantage!
VIDEO IN ARTICLE - On Aug 3, 2015, Rowan County Clerk, Kim Davis, was ordered taken into custody and jailed by U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning. Davis was jailed for her refusal to obey the Court’s earlier order to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
While this case has been a firestorm of controversy from the start, the incarceration of Davis has enraged some people, while other feel she has received exactly what she deserves.
VIDEO IN ARTICLE - One of the ways that our liberty can be threatened, or diminished, is when certain elements in our society do the Chicken Little routine and attempt to create a false crisis, which then leads to consequences that are adverse to our liberty interests. Certain elements are attempting to create a false crisis right now. The false crisis they’re attempting to create is the “War on Police.”
VIDEO EMBEDDED IN ARTICLE - America is facing a crisis of what I refer to as “Needless or illegal police violence.”
If you have any questions about my credentials to speak to this subject, go to davechampionsliberty.com and watch the intro video on the home page.
There is no question that America has a problem with needless or illegal police violence. The problem has existed for a long time. But everyone having a camera in their hand, as well as security cameras and body cams, has dramatically increased our ability to see the problem.
